OneTreePlanted

Trees help to clean the air we breathe, filter the water we drink, and support over 80% of the world's terrestrial biodiversity. Forests employ nearly 1.6 billion people, absorb toxic carbon from the atmosphere, and play an important role in preventing the harmful climate change.

Why we really need trees in our lives ↓

TO BREATH

Our planet has an amazing ability to maintain natural balance, and trees play an important role in this. Through a process known as photosynthesis, trees can remove excess carbon dioxide (CO2) from our atmosphere and convert it to oxygen (O2). They are critical to preserving the oxygen content of our atmosphere.

to fight climate change

Global warming is strongly linked to rising CO2 levels that are causing the 'greenhouse effect'. This is where CO2 traps solar heat, resulting in a warmer climate. Human activity is the main driver of rising CO2 levels. Because trees excel at removing excess CO2 from our atmosphere, there has never been a more critical time to plant more and protect what we have.

to be the home of the wildlife

Trees provide critical habitat for much of the wildlife in the world. They provide a wealth of opportunities for birds nesting in their canopies, small mammals making their homes in their root systems, and bats roosting in their trunks.

Without trees, forest creatures would have nowhere to call home.

ONE TREE PLANTED

For each product we sell, we are going to plant a tree!

OneTreePlanted is a nonprofit organisation on a mission to make it simple for anyone to help the environment by planting trees. Their projects span the globe and are done in partnership with local communities and knowledgeable experts to create an impact for nature, people, and wildlife. Reforestation helps to rebuild forests after fires and floods, provide jobs for social impact, and restore biodiversity.

This partnership wants to leave a positive mark on the environment and we need you to make this happen!
